Terms of Service

By using the La Mode mobile application ("App"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What La Mode Does

La Mode lets you:

• Take or upload a selfie
• Search for clothing by photo
• See AI-generated images of how clothing might look on you
• Save and organize your try-on sessions

2. Your Responsibilities

• Use the App only for lawful, personal purposes
• Do not upload inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the App
• Do not use the App to infringe on anyone's rights

3. Your Photos

You own the photos you upload. By uploading them, you grant La Mode a limited, temporary license to process them solely for providing the try-on service. Your photos are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours and are never used to train AI models. If you delete a photo or session from the App, the corresponding server files are deleted instantly.

Because server copies expire after 24 hours, your selfies may be re-uploaded when you start a new try-on session. This ensures no copies of your photos persist on our servers longer than necessary.

4. AI-Generated Content

Try-on images are generated by artificial intelligence. You understand that:

• Results are approximations — they may not match how an item looks in real life
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of any generated image
• Results should not be the sole basis for purchasing decisions

5. Product Results

Product images and links shown in the App come from third-party retailers. We do not sell products directly. Prices, availability, and product details are provided by external sources and may not be accurate. We are not responsible for purchases made on third-party sites.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

La Mode offers optional paid subscription plans:

• Basic — 1 selfie slot, unlimited searches, 30 try-ons per month
• Plus — 2 selfie slots, unlimited searches, 40 try-ons per month
• Pro — 3 selfie slots, unlimited searches, 70 try-ons per month

All subscriptions are billed monthly through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Renewal charges are billed within 24 hours before the end of each period at the same price.
• Managing subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Cancellation: When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy. La Mode does not process refunds directly.
• Free tier: La Mode can be used for free with limited features (2 selfie slots, 8 searches, and 8 try-ons per month). No subscription is required.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and its code are owned by La Mode. Product images belong to their respective retailers and brands.

8. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, accurate results, or fitness for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

La Mode is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
