La Mode ("we", "our", or "us") operates the La Mode mobile application (the "App"). This policy describes what data we collect, how we handle it, and your rights.

1. What We Collect

• Selfies: Photos you take or upload for the virtual try-on feature.
• Garment images: Clothing photos you capture or crop for product search and try-on.
• Anonymous identifier: A randomly generated anonymous user ID for session management. No email or personal information is collected.
• Device & usage data: Device type, OS version, and anonymous interaction data used to maintain and improve the App.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Generate virtual try-on images using your selfie and a garment photo
• Find visually similar products using garment images
• Manage your anonymous session and enforce usage limits
• Improve app stability and performance

3. Photo Storage & Deletion

When you use the try-on feature:

• Your selfies and garment images are temporarily uploaded to Google Cloud Storage for processing.
• All uploaded photos and generated try-on outputs are automatically deleted within 24 hours.
• If you manually delete a photo or session from the App, the corresponding server files are deleted instantly.
• Because server copies expire after 24 hours, your selfies will be re-uploaded automatically when needed for a new try-on session. This ensures no copies persist longer than necessary.
• Your photos are never used to train or improve AI models.

Try-on results and session history are also stored locally on your device. You can delete local data at any time from within the App.

4. What We Share

We do not sell your data. We share limited data with the following service providers, solely to operate the App:

• Google Cloud (Vertex AI): Receives your selfie and garment image to generate the try-on result. Subject to the Google Cloud Privacy Notice.
• Google Firebase: Handles authentication and basic analytics.
• Third-party product search provider: Receives garment images to find visually similar products. Your selfies are never sent to this service.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

La Mode offers optional paid subscription plans (Basic, Plus, and Pro) available as monthly auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's App Store.

• Purchase data: All payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card or payment details.
• Subscription status: We receive and store your subscription tier and status (active, expired, or in grace period) to provide you with the correct features and usage limits.
• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage subscription state. RevenueCat receives an anonymous user identifier and subscription events from Apple. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

6. Data Security

We protect your data with HTTPS encryption, access-controlled cloud storage, and authenticated API endpoints. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply industry-standard safeguards.

7. Children

The App is suitable for all ages. We do not collect personal information from any user, including children. All usage is anonymous — no account, email, or identifying information is required.

8. Your Rights

• Request access to any personal data we hold
• Request deletion of your data from our servers
• Delete photos and sessions from the App for instant server-side removal
• Delete all locally stored data from within the App

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new date.
